Longbridge doubles down on Singapore with new wealth hub office
Fintech and online brokerage firm Longbridge Group has opened a new office in Singapore’s Marina Bay financial district and plans a second location later this year, deepening its commitment to one of Asia’s fastest-growing wealth management hubs.
The office at Asia Square Tower 2 will serve as the group’s Singapore headquarters and is the first of two planned openings in the city-state in 2026. Longbridge said the expansion reflects its long-term strategy to strengthen its presence in the region and support growing demand for digital investment services.
Financial details of the expansion were not disclosed.
The move comes as Singapore continues to attract global wealth managers, family offices and fintech firms, drawn by its stable regulatory environment and status as a regional financial centre. Digital brokerages have also stepped up investments in technology and product offerings as competition for affluent and tech-savvy investors intensifies.
“Singapore is not a new market for us. Our users have been here since the beginning,” said Nowa Zhu, group chief executive and co-founder of Longbridge. “What’s new is that we can finally say: come find us. Longbridge is now a more prominent presence in your city, and we’re here to stay.”
Longbridge operates across securities brokerage, institutional trading technology and artificial intelligence-driven financial infrastructure. Its businesses include retail brokerage platform Longbridge, institutional trading solutions provider LONGPORT Whale and AI-focused platform LongbridgeAI.
The company said LONGPORT Whale has expanded its services for institutional clients, including brokers, banks and family offices, while its retail platform has broadened access to multiple markets and asset classes for investors across Asia.
A second Singapore location, which will house the group’s first Southeast Asian Longbridge Cafe, is scheduled to open in the fourth quarter.
The expansion underscores Singapore’s growing role as a hub for digital wealth platforms seeking to capture rising investor demand across Asia, as technology firms increasingly combine brokerage, institutional services and artificial intelligence to compete for retail and high-net-worth clients.
